In the summer of 2020 — in response to the canceled JMoF 2021, a certain recording project had arisen from inside staff.
“JMoF History”: as the name implies, it was a project introducing and reflecting on JMoF up from the first until that point.
However, that video never got to see the light of day...
But keeping it shelved is such a waste! That’s why we’ll be taking the opportunity of this 10th anniversary of JMoF to use the then-created footage and talk. Everyone is welcome, whether you know about past JMoFs or not.

This is a course on creating fursuits with the beginner in mind.
I’ll be discussing the overall fursuit creation process in a lecture-style format, with a focus on the creation of realistic heads. You’ll be able to look at an actual head base, and I’ll be handing out some documents consolidating the process that you can take home.
I hope to be of help to those who are thinking “I’ll be creating my first fursuit but I’m not sure what kinds of creation processes there are” or “I’ll be creating my second suit, and I’d like to fix the things I thought were lacking with the first one”. Please come and participate.

With the introduction of a new Japanese era, “Heisei”, Japan welcomed the last ten years of the 20th century―the 90’s. Even though it was a period where the bubble had burst and the atmosphere in Japan was chilled due to the recession, the vibrant stars on the other side of the CRT TV helped make living rooms all across Japan warmer.
On Back to the JMoF’s last day, everybody’s going to time leap back to the 90’s, and discuss things they remember, maybe while watching a bit of TV.

We’re inviting JMoF 2023’s Guest of Honor, Horimon, and putting on a talk show. Horimon has been creating sculptures themed “kemono”, that is, anthropomorphic representation of animals or zoomorphic representation of humans, while researching the relationship between us humans and kemono. The discussion will be regarding his activities and thoughts about kemono, as he talks with the JMoF representative, Satomi. We look forward to everyone’s participation.

Don’t you think it’d be nice to find “your favorite things/doings” besides furry at JMoF?
Note: This event will have a specified area (spaces are limited) to exhibit automobiles (both cars and motorcycles) for participants who wish to present them on the day of.
For those who are willing to place their automobiles there on the days of the event, please check the information from our official Twitter account.

Regulations on the Venue

Day 1 (January 5th (Thu.), 2023)

Some areas will be impassable due to other meetings. Pay attention to the notice in the hotel. Also, as the hall lobby will be crowded, we recommend visiting the Welcome Lounge on the 30th floor (con-badge is required).

General Regulations

  • The Garden is closed from 21:00 to 9:00.
  • Refrain from fursuiting on the 1st floor from 23:00 to 7:00.
  • Refrain from fursuiting on the 1st & 2nd floor during the following hours: 1) before 15:00 on January 5th (Thu.), 2023, 2) 9th (Mon.).

Day 4 (January 8th (Sun.), 2023)

Many other parties will be held at the hotel. Please don't block the way by taking photos or chatting at the Hotel Lobby and the Entrance during the following hours:

  • 17:00〜18:00
  • 20:00〜21:00

Neighboring Facility

In APINA Toyohashi (amusement arcade next to the hotel), be careful not to disturb other people whether fursuiting or not. When taking photos, be careful not to include other people in the photos. Do not use a tripod, take commercial photos, or distribute videos.
