JMoF Fursuit Dance Competition 2022

The moment that furries worldwide have been eagerly waiting for has returned. The moment that the sound and rhythm take you, and your burning passion unleashes instinctively, has finally returned.

With the shift to an online event this time, both fursuiter and furry avatar alike can take the stage. The beautiful and strong dances of those who entrusted their bodies to the melody. The scenes burnt into the mind, the body alight with fiery intensity.

Having moved to a new stage, The JMoF Fursuit Dance Competition 2022 will be held here.

Event Outline

Result Announcement (Tentative)

January 8th, (Sat.), 2021, 22:00 (JST); to be streamed on Twitch

The archive will be available on Youtube at a later date.

Judgment

Three judges will evaluate and score the performances in terms of dance skills, performance, and identity (whether or not the individuality of the fursuit or the avatar is expressed well).

Entry Information

Qualification Requirements

  • Your dance must be original.
  • You/All the group members must be wearing a fursuit or using a furry avatar.
  • If you use a furry avatar, you must also submit a video that proves that you are the one dancing.

Note: You/Your group may submit only one movie.

Quality Standards of Your Movie

  • The length of your movie should be within 2 minutes.

Note: If the length exceeds 2 minutes, we will crop the video after 2:01.

  • The resolution of your movie should be 1920×1080 or 1280×720.
  • As a general rule, your movie should be shot from a fixed point and should not contain any harmful visual editing (excessive lights, etc.).
  • The format of your movie should be either MP4/MPEG/MPG/MOV.
  • The contents of your movie do not violate public policy, and should be suitable for showing in public.

Please fill out the application form and send it to us by the deadline. The application form will be published when the application opens.

After accepting your application, we will contact you in advance.

Note: If you don’t receive any message from us for a week after completing the application, please contact us through the “Contact” page.

Notice

  • If your submission is found plagiarized, it will be disqualified for the competition and future entries may be rejected.
  • In addition, a movie that the JMoF Executive Committee considers it inappropriate may not be accepted.
  • The copyright for the submitted movie belongs to its creator. However, the JMoF Executive Committee will reserve the right to publish it on social media, YouTube, etc. through the accounts handled by us.
