Event Application

JMoF 2024 is going to take applications for your own unique event.

“I have ideas for an event, but I’m worried if people would want to come...” “I’m sure a program like this would certainly make JMoF even more fun...”

For those who have thoughts like that, we have a space at JMoF for you to do your event. Why not take this opportunity to realize your idea at JMoF?



  • Art and Creation: Drawing, Fiction Writing, Fursuit Making, Photo/Videoshooting, etc.
  • Performance: Fursuit Acting, Dancing, Playing Music, etc.
  • Everything Furry: Fandom, Lifestyle, Events, Services, History, etc.
  • Relating to the JMoF 2024 Theme (GHOSTBUSTERS)
  • Other: Gaming, Entertainments, etc.


  • Presentation/Lecture
  • Talk show
  • Workshop
  • Other

Of course, the themes and formats are NOT limited to just the above!

Note: We will also introduce some examples and give some advice to event-hosting beginners in this article (in Japanese) on the JMoF Channel blog!


Date/Time and Place

  • JMoF Executive Committee ("we") will arrange times and places for attendees of JMoF 2024 to hold their events.
  • Applied events will be integrated into the JMoF 2024 official timetable.
  • In the hotel, you can use the equipment shown below.
  • As a general rule, 60 minutes will be provided for one event.

Note: If you would like to host a longer event such as 90 or 120 minutes, it will have to be discussed separately. Please make a request in the application form.

  • You can use the event space 30 minutes before and after event timeframes for preparation and cleanup.

Note: Available times and places are limited. If we get more applications than the capacity allows, we may have to decline some.

Procedure after Application

  1. We will check whether your application meets the requirements.
  2. We will propose to you available times and places. After your consent, it will be fixed.
  3. Information (name, host(s), and abstract) of your event will appear on the JMoF 2024 official timetable.

Note: Please arrange by yourself any other things necessary for preparing and running your event.

Entry Information

Qualification Requirements

  • To hold the event, the“Rules Of Conduct” must be understood and complied with.
  • Event must not contain material that violates public policy.
  • Rules of the hotel must be followed.
  • Online communication via Discord with JMoF staff in advance must be taken part in.

Note: For speedy and smooth communication, we ask you to use Discord for text chat.

Note: Depending on the content you applied with, we may ask you to change it or decline the event altogether.

Available Equipment in the Hotel

  • Chairs (foldable chairs at the hotel)
  • Tables (45 x 180 cm)
  • Whiteboard (90 x 180 cm)
  • Projector (VGA)

Note: Since the number of whiteboards and projectors is limited, we will accept requests on a first-come-first-served basis.

Note: Hosts are in charge of equipment during their event. If equipment is broken intentionally or negligently, hosts may be required to compensate for the damage.

Application Period

  • 1st Period: Until October 14th (Sat.), 2023 (JST)
  • 2nd Period: Until October 31st (Tue.), 2023 (JST)

Note: If too many applications arrive, the 2nd period may be closed early or not held altogether.

  • Depending on the schedule of other programs, your requests of time and place may not be able to be met. We will inform you in that case.
