There will be changing rooms inside the JMoF 2027 event area that will require registration in advance and an extra fee.
If you want to use the facility, please read the following information carefully and proceed to sign up.

Changing room access passes will not be available during the convention. If you plan to use a changing room, please make sure to register the changing room in advance. Please note that you must complete your JMoF registration before registering for a changing room.

Sign up for the Changing Rooms

Opening Hours

  • Jan. 8 (Fri./Day 1), 2027, 11:00–22:00 (Closed until 9:30 the next morning)
  • Jan. 9 (Sat./Day 2), 2027, 9:30–22:00 (Closed until 9:30 the next morning)
  • Jan. 10 (Sun./Day 3), 2027, 9:30–20:00

Hall A

Note: The Changing Room consists of a unisex changing room and a women-only changing room. There is no men-only changing room.

Note: The CAPTAIN-Exclusive Changing Room available to CAPTAIN participants will be located in Hall A, separate from the general changing rooms described on this page.

Terms of Use

Signing Up for the Changing Rooms

  • If you wish to use the Changing Rooms, you must sign up during the designated registration period and pay the Changing Room fee (JPY 5,000).

Note: If you cancel your Changing Room registration, the refund amount will vary depending on the date the cancellation is processed. For details, please see the “Policies for Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds” page.

  • Only the person registered to use the Changing Rooms may use them, except for an accompanying person as described below. You must not allow anyone else to use your con-badge or luggage tag.

Registration Period

From 21:00 (JST) or later on Oct. 3 (Sat.) to 23:59 (JST) on Dec. 27 (Sun.), 2026

Note: During the pre-registration period, only participants who have completed pre-registration may apply. If spaces remain after the period ends, participants who have completed on-site registration may also be able to apply.

Note: Applications will close once the maximum number of applications is reached.

Changing room access passes will not be available for purchase during the convention. If you wish to use a changing room, please make sure to register the changing room registration in advance. Please note that you must complete your JMoF registration before registering for a changing room.

How to Use

  • Each Changing Room access pass allows you to bring one fursuit into the Changing Rooms at a time. If you have multiple fursuits, please switch them as needed.
  • If you use the Changing Rooms, please attach the luggage tags to any belongings you bring into the Changing Rooms.
    • If you registered to use the Changing Rooms during the advance registration period, the luggage tag is included with your con-badge and other materials.
    • If you registered to use the Changing Rooms after the advance registration period, please visit the Volunteer Desk in Hall A to receive your luggage tag.

Note: If you lose your luggage tag, please come to the Volunteer Desk in Hall A.

  • One accompanying person (attendant) may enter the Changing Rooms per changing room access pass. Accompanying persons are asked to consider the crowd condition of the Changing Rooms before entering.
  • Drinking water will not be provided. Please bring your own beverage that has a lid on it.

About Luggage

  • When leaving your luggage in the Changing Rooms, please attach the luggage tag in a clearly visible location and place your luggage in the designated storage area.
  • After changing, please do not leave your luggage on the tables.

Note: Staff may move your belongings depending on the situation.

  • Regardless of its size, any luggage without a luggage tag may be moved by staff. When leaving your belongings in the Changing Rooms, please keep them inside a tagged bag or suitcase and take responsibility for their safekeeping.
  • Please keep your personal belongings, especially valuables such as wallets, with you at all times.
  • On the nights of Day 1 (Jan. 8 (Fri.)) and Day 2 (Jan. 9 (Sat.)), you will not be able to enter the Changing Rooms from 22:00 to 9:30 the following morning. However, you may leave your luggage inside.

To allow as many people as possible to use the Changing Rooms, we ask that you pack up your belongings as soon as possible after changing.

Please refrain from bringing any equipment or furniture for storing costumes, except for bags and suitcases.

In recent years, there has been an increase in fires involving products that use lithium-ion batteries.

To prevent accidents, please do not leave any of the above-mentioned products in the changing rooms. We kindly ask that you keep these items with you at all times.

Note: Examples of products that use lithium-ion batteries include portable power banks, handheld fans, cameras, rechargeable air circulators, and blowers.

Other Notes

  • Please follow any instructions of security guards or staff promptly.
  • If any acts of harassment or other behavior that violates the Participation Terms or Changing Room Terms of Use are confirmed, appropriate action may be taken against the person responsible.
  • The JMoF Executive Committee, facility staff, and security personnel are not responsible for any lost items or other issues in the Changing Rooms.
