Hello, everyone, how are you all spending this summer? With the extreme heat continuing alongside earthquakes and heavy rains across the region, we hope you are all staying safe and doing well.

With autumn in Japan officially underway, the time has finally come to reveal the details of JMoF 2027. We will announce various updates through the official JMoF website and our social media accounts, so stay tuned!

As we have announced previously, pre-registration for JMoF 2027 is scheduled to open at 21:00 (JST) on Sep. 12 (Sat.), 2026, and room reservations for the official hotel (Toyoko Inn Chubu International Airport No.2) are scheduled to begin at 0:00 (JST) on Sep. 27 (Sun.), 2026.

In addition, as we officially begin a new chapter for JMoF, our chairperson, Mangluca, would like to share a message with you all. We hope you will take a moment to read it once it is published. Thank you as always for your continued support!

Messages from Our Departments

Venue & Regional Cooperation

JMoF 2027 is scaling up in every way—from the venue at Aichi Sky Expo, featuring a spacious 10,000-square-meter hall and 18 meeting rooms, to the official hotel, Toyoko Inn Chubu International Airport No.2, with more than three times as many guest rooms as during the previous event. Our department is hard at work preparing to welcome an even larger number of attendees.

Since this is our first time holding the event at this new location, we are still finding our footing. However, we are working closely with all relevant parties to make sure everything is ready for JMoF 2027, so we hope you look forward to it!

As in previous events, many creators have generously contributed prizes for our charity raffle. We will also announce our new charity partner soon. Please stay tuned for further information!

Security & Volunteer Coordination

As we prepare for the new location, we are working closely with relevant parties to develop a safety and security plan for the convention venue and surrounding area, ensuring that all attendees can enjoy JMoF with even greater peace of mind than before.

Enhancing our security measures is an important effort as we continue to host JMoF. We are making every possible preparation to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We are also building a welcoming environment where anyone can feel comfortable joining our volunteer team. By developing resources like an FAQ page to help even first-timers easily picture their roles, we want to ensure that all our volunteers have a fun, engaging, and rewarding experience that inspires them to join us again.

In preparation for opening volunteer registration, we are working on various projects—from setting up the volunteer application form to selecting volunteer-exclusive merchandise to show appreciation for everyone who generously lends a hand.

For further details, please stay tuned to the official JMoF website. We sincerely look forward to your applications!

Registration & Convention Store

Our Registration & Convention Store department is currently going all out to prepare for opening pre-registration!

We are working on improving “ConCat,” the new registration system we introduced at our last event, and are updating the user guide accordingly. Please hang tight just a little longer until the official release!

Of course, we are also steadily making progress on developing JMoF 2027 official merchandise! Stay tuned for more information!

Event Programming

Our Event Programming department is brainstorming ideas, keeping the new location in mind, and moving forward with preparations for JMoF 2027. Although many proposals are still in their early stages, the overall outline of our programming is steadily coming together.

Furthermore, we have opened applications for attendee-hosted events and are currently reviewing and organizing all the submissions. The first application period runs through Sep. 5 (Sat.), 2026. If you have an event idea for JMoF 2027, don’t miss this chance to apply!

Note: As of Sep. 6 (Sun.), 2026, the second application period is open. We look forward to receiving your proposals!

We will be announcing event details as they become available, so please stay tuned for future updates!

Language Support

We are currently developing content for our official JMoF website. As mentioned repeatedly across the updates from other departments, the new venue relocation requires us to make major revisions to our information assets, and our entire Language Support department is working hard on this.

We are working closely with related departments to ensure the best possible website content, but if you happen to notice any typos or errors, we would appreciate it if you could send us feedback via the form on the “Contact” page.
