Event Applications

JMoF 2027 will be accepting applications from participants to host their own events.

“I have ideas for an event, but I’m worried if people would want to come...”
“I’m sure an event like this would certainly make JMoF even more fun...”

For those who feel this way, JMoF is providing a chance for you to host your own event. Why not take this opportunity to bring your idea to life at JMoF?

Examples

Themes

• Art and Creation: Drawing, Story Writing, Fursuit Making, Photo/Videoshooting, etc.
• Performance: Fursuit Acting, Dancing, Playing Music, etc.
• Everything about Furry: Fandom, Lifestyle, Events, Services, History, etc.
• Related to the JMoF 2027 theme "Lost in Transit －Adrift at Centrair－"
• Other: Gaming, Entertainments, etc.

Format

• Presentation/Lecture
• Talk show
• Workshop
• Other

Of course, the themes and formats are NOT limited to just the above!

Entry Information

Application Requirements

• Applicant must understand and comply with the “Participation Policy” before holding their event.
• The event must not contain material that violates public decency.
• The event must follow the venue's rules and regulations.
• The applicant must be able to communicate with JMoF staff via Discord before and during the event.

Note: For quick and smooth communication, we ask you to use Discord as the main messaging platform.

Note: Depending on the content of your application, we may ask you to make changes or decline the event altogether.

Application Period

• Applications Open: Aug. 8 (Sat.), 2026 (JST)
• First Application Deadline: Sep. 5 (Sat.), 2026 (JST)
• Second Application Deadline: Sep. 26 (Sat.), 2026 (JST)

Note: If we receive a high volume of applications, the second application period may close early or may not be held.

How to Apply

Please fill out the application form and submit by the deadline.

After we receive your application, we will send you a confirmation email.

Note: If you don’t receive a confirmation email within two weeks of submitting your application, please contact us through the “Contact page”

Procedure after Application

1. We will check whether your application meets the requirements.
2. We will propose the available timeslot and location. After your approval, the details will be tentatively scheduled.
3. Your event information (event title, host(s), and description) will appear in the official JMoF 2027 timetable.

Note: Please arrange other necessary items for preparing and running your event (contents, operation, advertising, etc.) by yourself.

Time and Location

• We will provide a time and location for JMoF 2027 attendees to host their events.
• You can choose a duration of 60, 90, or 120 minutes for your event.
• You may use the event space for 15-30 minutes before and after your event for setup and teardown. Please discuss your setup and teardown time with our staff after submitting your application.

Note: Available timeslots and locations are limited. If we get more applications than the capacity allows, we may be unable to meet your request.

• Chairs (provided by the venue)
• Tables (provided by the venue)
• Whiteboard
• Projector
• Industrial Fans

Note: Since the number of whiteboards, projectors and industrial fans is limited, we will accept requests on a first-come-first-served basis.

Notice

• Depending on the content of your event and other programs, we may be unable to accommodate your requested time or location, or we may ask you to cancel the event altogether. We will notify you if this is the case.
