Dealer’s Den

The Dealer’s Den is the place for all furry/animal creators and fans. Dealers can display and sell all original furry/animal-themed creations such as art, books, goods, accessories, and fursuits. Admission is free for JMoF attendees, so come and join us and have a great time!

Photography Guidelines

  • Photography is allowed in the Dealer’s Den. Video recording and live streaming are prohibited.
  • If you are a dealer in the Dealer’s Den, you are allowed to take and share photos of yourself and your activities as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others.

Note: If you post photos on social media, please be considerate of those who may appear in the pictures. Also, please be aware that both exhibitors and attendees might be unintentionally photographed.

How to Apply for a Booth

This page is for artists who would like to exhibit their creations in the Dealer’s Den at JMoF 2027. You may display or sell any furry or animal-themed creations such as pictures, illustrations, photographs, books, handicrafts, and fursuits. You can also take commissions there. Please apply via the Dealer’s Den in the Event Store in ConCat.

Booth Types

Choose one of the three types of booths: Table Booth (Single or Double) or Square Booth.

Note: No additional chairs are available for any type.

Table Booth

You can display your items on the long table already arranged.

  • Table Booth (Single): Half of the long table (90 x 45 cm) with one chair
  • Table Booth (Double): One long table (180 x 45 cm) with two chairs

Note: If we receive too many applications, we may hold a lottery.

Square Booth

You can display items as you like inside the square space.

  • A square area (250 x 250 cm) with two long tables (180cm x 45 cm) and three chairs
  • The “no table” option is available.

Due to the limited number of available slots for the Square Booth, a lottery will be held if applications exceed the number of slots. When registering, you can choese to either change your registration to a Table Booth or cancel in the registration period if you are not selected in the lottery.

Rental Equipment

Clothes racks are available for an extra fee. Quantities available for rent vary depending on the booth type.

Clothes rack: 1,500 JPY per item

  • Single: Max 1 clothes rack
  • Double: Max 2 clothes racks
  • Square Booth: Max 3 clothes racks

The link to rent clothes racks will be included in the acceptance email sent after your application for Dealer’s Den is confirmed. Please check the email for the link.

The total number of clothes racks available for rent is limited. Applications will close once the limit is reached.

Note: Please keep all clothes racks and booth staff within your assigned space.

Guidelines

  • The walls of the venue cannot be used.
  • You cannot sell or handle any adult materials in the Dealer’s Den.
  • Please note that you will be responsible for everything you bring to your booth at any time. JMoF Executive Committee will not be responsible for any theft or damage.
  • Derivative 3D works are not allowed. Please note that certain goods or merchandise may be restricted on the day of the event after review due to copyright concerns.
  • You may leave your booth at any time during event hours for breaks or shopping. Please note that you are responsible for all cash, valuables, and personal items left in your space.
  • Bring home your own garbage. Please note that we only collect packaging materials, such as cardboard.
  • You are allowed to eat and drink only inside your booth. You may bring and drink beverages only if they have a lid. (Eating and drinking inside the Dealer’s Den are prohibited for general attendees.)
  • When using tablecloths and the like, please keep them at least 10 cm off the floor. In addition, the use of flame-retardant material is recommended wherever possible.

How to Apply for a Booth

To apply for a booth in the Dealer’s Den, you need to register on ConCat.

Fill out the Dealer’s Den Application Form and send it to us by the deadline. Before you apply, please confirm all the information on the form.

You can access the form from the link described in the confirmation email sent after completing your pre-registration, or from the button “Apply for Your Booth at the Dealer’s Den” published on this page.

Exhibition Fee

  • Table Booth (Single): 6,000 JPY
  • Table Booth (Double): 12,000 JPY
  • Square Booth: 15,000 JPY

Dealer’s Ribbons

Dealer’s Ribbons certify you are a dealer. We will give you the prescribed number of ribbons (depending on your booth type) along with your con-badge.

  • Table Booth (Single): 2 dealer’s ribbons
  • Table Booth (Double): 3 dealer’s ribbons
  • Square Booth: 4 dealer’s ribbons

Please attach the ribbons to the con-badge(s) of those who are involved in the on-site setup and operation of your booth.

Booth Banner

We will ask you to submit a booth banner when you apply to exhibit in the Dealer’s Den. It will be posted on the website and in the conbook along with the registered booth information.

Booth Banner Guideline
  • Use our official templates (download: PSD/PNG).
  • Color mode: RGB/CMYK
  • Size: 38 x 38 mm (resolution: 300 dpi)
  • Submission file format: JPG/PNG
  • Submission file name: Use the same name for your booth and the banner file in your application.
Booth Banner Rules
  • Put your booth name on the banner clearly. Submissions without the booth name will be considered invalid. You are free to choose how and where to put the name.
  • Only JPG and PNG files are accepted.
  • When you put text on your banner, we recommend you keep the size 6 pt or above.

Before applying, please carefully review the “Booth Banner Guideline” section. If your submitted booth banner does not conform to the listed specifications (size, resolution, file format, etc.), then it will be considered invalid, and in principle will be excluded from any lottery.

Note: In order to publish the booth information on our website and conbook, please be advised that this may cause some changes (e.g. color changes) to your booth banner.

Please check all the categories that apply to your exhibition. This information will be used as a reference for booth placement. Your selections here will not cause your application to be considered invalid. There is no problem if you bring items that were not selected here on the day of the event.

  • Under no circumstances shall JMoF Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as “we”) be responsible for any physical injuries or property damage caused to dealers or others concerned.
  • We are organizing our convention for non-profit purposes and are providing the Dealer’s Den as a space for attendees to sell items.
    • We do not provide any assistance or advice regarding legal obligations or necessary applications related to conducting sales. Please decide whether to exhibit in the Dealer’s Den at your own responsibility.
    • If you are considering exhibiting from overseas and have questions regarding these matters, we kindly ask you to consult with your local embassy or relevant authorities.
  • We do not take any responsibility for disputes between dealers and third parties over merchandise or services provided by the dealers. Dealers must handle such disputes at their own expense and responsibility.
  • In the event of a lottery due to a large number of applications, any errors in your submission (including form inputs or banners) will result in immediate disqualification. Please review your submission carefully before applying.
