Let’s enjoy the chemical reaction between kemono, art, and interactions!

What is the Artist Lounge?
The Artist Lounge is a place where attendees can enjoy various interactions and programs through kemono and art. Its motto is that the fandom is about “more than just fursuits”. You can join in on some art-related programs, take commissions, or just talk and draw the whole time. There are many ways to enjoy the artist lounge. This year, we have a much bigger venue, and both the desks and art materials have been greatly upgraded! Why not take your time and enjoy a special experience at the convention?
Note: Various art materials will be available to borrow in the lounge, but availability is limited. We strongly recommend that you bring your own art materials.

What Kind of Programs Will Be Held?
The planned programs are shown below.
JMoF Art Contest 2027
We will hold an art competition. Why not express your overflowing passion and the skills you've honed over time through your illustration and showcase your work at our contest?
The theme of the contest is “Belonging”! For more information including how to apply, please see the “Art Contest” page.
JMoF Workshop
With the exception of JMoF’s first day, the JMoF Workshop will be held during the same hours as the artist lounge. Have fun turning illustrations into pin badges...

...or crafting name badges using laminators and eyelets! You can even take commissions for this!

Note: Please bring your own string/cords for the name badge lanyards.
Note: You can make one item per illustration for each kind of service.

JMoF Handscroll
In the lounge, we will set up a looooooooong roll of paper on which you can draw anything! If you don’t have enough space to draw, just unwind the paper a little further.
Why not draw something about your best memory of JMoF so far? Of course, it’s up to you if you draw a detailed piece or just a sketch!
Note: We may publish the contents of the handscroll on our official SNSs or website.

Open Commissions File
In the lounge, we will set up an A4-sized file folder in which anyone can leave their “open for commissions” sheet. You can bring one you prepared in advance or create one spontaneously on-site. Either is fine!
If you want to participate in other programs but also make use of the available time to get in some art commissions, this is for you! Make the most of it and enjoy JMoF to the fullest!
Not sure how to make your “open for commissions” sheet? We’ve prepared the template data(JPG/PDF). You can use it as is or customize it. Try opening commissions in your own way!
We look forward to seeing you there!
