In order to attend JMoF 2026, you are required to register. You have two options: pre-registration and on-site registration.

The registration process for JMoF2026 onwards will change from the form registration system.

We will introduce "ConCat" as a new registration system, and the registration process will change to an account registration system.

The registration system is scheduled to open on August 30th (Sat.).

We plan to publish instructions for the registration system together with its release.

Registration Information

JMoF 2026 will conduct registrations as follows:

• Please register only if you fully understand and agree to all the terms outlined, such as our “Terms of Participation”.
• Participants who wish to stay overnight are requested to make their own room reservations.
• Use of the changing rooms in the venue, selling in the Dealer’s Room, and participation in the Dead Dog Party requires a prior application and an additional fee.

Registration Periods (JST timezone)

Pre-registration

Note | If the number of pre-registrations exceed expectations, we may close pre-registration early.

• Start: From September 6th (Sat.), 2025, at 21:00.
• End: On November 3rd (Mon.), 2025, at 23:59.

Note: Room reservations for the convention hotel are scheduled to begin on October 4th (Sat.), 2025, at 20:00 (JST). (Those who pre-registered with the NIGHT FOX participation tier will be informed of their advance reservation separately.)

Note: The pre-registration application for the NIGHT FOX participation tier will be open from 21:00 on September 6th (Sat.), 2025, to September 12th (Fri.), 2025, 23:59.

On-Site Registration

Note | If the number of pre-registrations exceed expectations, we may not do on-site registrations on the days of the event.

• January 9th (Fri./Day 1), 2026, 16:00 – 20:00
• January 10th (Sat./Day 2), 2026, 10:00 – 20:00
• January 11th (Sun./Day 3), 2026, 10:00 – 17:00

Note: On-site registration will be handled at the JMoF registration desk (Loisir Hotel Toyohashi Hall Lobby).

Participation Tiers

There are five types of participation tiers: “MEMBER (One Day)”, “MEMBER (All Days)”, “SPONSOR”, “SUPERSPONSOR”, and “NIGHT FOX”, which differ in terms of participation fees, and participation perks. All tiers except “MEMBER (One Day)” allow you to participate in the entirety of JMoF 2026.

Regular Participation Tiers

Note: You do not have to register if you want to attend only on January 9th (Fri./Day 1), 2026.

Note: Child rates apply to participants 13 years of age and younger. For more details, please refer to “Participation of Minors/Children” below.

Participation Tiers with Perks

At JMoF, for those who would like to support us in our continuation of convention operations, we are offering participation tiers with perks as shown below.

Note: Your name will be listed in the JMoF 2026 credit roll and Conbook (based on the information registered as of November 12th (Wed.), 2025)

Note: The above perks cannot be applied to anyone other than the applicant. In addition, some of the perks may not be available to those who register on-site.

Important Points on NIGHT FOX Registration

Note｜This tier can only be registered during pre-registration, and is limited to 50 people. In order to register as a NIGHT FOX, you will need to apply for the NIGHT FOX participation tier lottery.

NIGHT FOX Participation Tier Lottery Application

The application for the NIGHT FOX participation tier lottery will be open from 21:00 on September 6th (Sat.), 2025, to September 12th (Fri.), 2025, 23:59 (JST).

For those who wish to apply for the NIGHT FOX participation tier lottery, please carry out the below steps on the pre-registration form.

• Please select one participation tier from MEMBER (All Days), SPONSOR, or SUPERSPONSOR. You will temporarily be registered as this participation tier.
• Please check the checkbox that says “Apply for the NIGHT FOX Participation Tier”.

At the time of registration, your selected participation tier’s fee (along with the fees of any selected options) will be withdrawn from the credit card. After your registration has been confirmed, a guidance email will be sent that will discuss how to pay the difference in your registered tier’s participation fee and that of the NIGHT FOX participation fee.

From September 15th (Mon.), to September 17th (Wed.) 2025, we will ask you to carry out authorization hold procedures for payment of the difference in price between the participation tier you already paid for and the NIGHT FOX participation tier. The actual payment of this difference will only be carried out for those selected in the lottery (or, in the case where max capacity was not reached, all who applied for the NIGHT FOX tier), and will be withdrawn from the provided credit card between September 21st (Sun.) and September 22nd (Mon.), 2025.

Note: Please confirm ahead of time that there is enough of an available limit on the credit card being used. If the authorization hold mentioned above was not successfully granted, you will not be eligible to be included in the lottery.

Note: If the above authorization hold procedures are not carried out, you will not be eligible to be included in the lottery.

Note: If you were not selected in the lottery, the authorization hold will be automatically removed at a later date. Note that the removal date will be different depending on the credit card used.

NIGHT FOX Participation Tier Lottery

If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, a lottery will be held on September 20th (Sat.), 2025 (JST). The lottery will be live-streamed on our JMoF Official YouTube Channel.

• If you were selected, you will be registered as the NIGHT FOX participation tier. Please note in advance that if selected, registration for this tier cannot be changed into another tier or cancelled.
• If you were not selected, then you will be registered as whatever participation tier you decided on during pre-registration.

Note: If max capacity of the number of applicants is not reached, at the end of the day on September 19th (Fri.), 2025, the above section regarding “if you were selected” in the lottery will be automatically applied.

Participation of Minors/Children

Minors (under 18 years old) are welcome to participate in JMoF. However, in addition to the JMoF rules and regulations, you must abide by all laws and regulations that apply to youth (under 18) and minors. In particular, please pay attention to the following:

• Please get permission from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to attend JMoF.
• When registering for JMoF, please provide emergency contact information (phone number) of your parent or guardian.
• Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend. A parent or guardian must be the one to register for the convention.

MEMBER (Child Fee)

For the regular participation tier (MEMBER), we have also set rates for children.

• MEMBER (Children from 6 to 13 years old): 3,000 JPY
• MEMBER (Children under 6 years old): free entrance

Note: Children with this tier may participate in all days of JMoF 2026.

Note: Child rates apply based on the age of the child on the day of the convention.

Room Reservations

Participants who wish to stay overnight are requested to make their own room reservations. For details, please see the “Room Reservation” page. Please note that the JMoF Executive Committee doesn’t handle any reservations.

Facilities and Events Tied to Pre-Registration

Changing Rooms

At JMoF 2026, changing rooms will be available at the venue for an extra fee, and only to those who pre-register for them. In order to use the venue’s changing rooms, you will need to apply for changing room usage, and pay the changing room usage fee.

If you are interested in using the changing rooms, please fill out the Changing Room Application Form. You can also access the form from the link provided in the confirmation email sent upon completion of your pre-registration.

Dealer’s Room

The Dealer’s Room will open on January 11th (Sun./Day 3), 2026. In order to have a booth in the Dealer’s Room, you must pre-register, register as a dealer in the Dealer’s Room, and pay the Dealer’s Room application fee.

If you are interested in participating as a dealer, please fill out the Dealer’s Room Application Form. You can access the form from the link provided in the confirmation email sent upon completion of your pre-registration.

Dead Dog Party

On the night of January 11th (Sun./Day 3), 2026, after the closing ceremonies, the crew will gather the rest of their strength to present you with our stand-up dinner party known as the Dead Dog Party! Join us for food, drinks, and fun! To attend, you must sign up and pay the participation fee.

Registration Change/Cancellation

The procedure for changing/canceling your registration and the refund amount will vary depending on the participation tier and the date of the change/cancellation. For details, please see the “Policies for Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds” page.

Donations

If you would like to graciously contribute to our funding to host and operate JMoF, whether or not you’re planning to participate, you will be able to donate from the "Donation Form". The donations you provide are able to assist in the JMoF Executive Committee’s activities.

Note: Please be aware that we will not be able to accept donations on the days of the convention.

Note: Whether or not JMoF is held, please note in advance that donations are not eligible for a refund.

1. Create an account

On both the top and bottom parts of this page, when you click the “Start Pre-registration” button, the registration system ConCat's login page will be opened. Click the “Create Account” button on the page.

Note | The registration system is scheduled to open on August 30th (Sat.).

Please enter all required information on the registration system. Please be sure to include your name and address, etc. for identity verification and for issuing your registration materials, including your con-badge and other necessary items.

A verification email will be sent by the registration system. Click on the link in the verification email to verify your account.

Note: You can create an account prior to September 6th (Sat).

Note: In past years, there have been many cases of failed con-badge deliveries due to incorrect or missing information on the registration form. When entering your information, please make sure that the entire address, including the name of the building, apartment number, etc., is entered correctly.

2. Add your participation tier

Log in to the registration system, click the “Create New Registration” button from the “Register” menu.

The participation fee varies depending on the participation tier.

• MEMBER (All Days): 9,000 JPY
  • Children from 6 to 13 years old: 3,000 JPY
  • Under 6 years old: free entrance
• SPONSOR: 22,000 JPY
• SUPERSPONSOR: 33,000 JPY
• NIGHT FOX: 110,000 JPY

Note: All levels above are memberships for all days. One day member registrations can only be made on-site.

3. Send payment

Once you have finished adding your participation tier, please proceed to the checkout screen to make your payment.

We only accept credit card payments for the participation fee. Please note that we do not accept payment by bank transfer.

Accepted credit cards are VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover. Debit cards and prepaid cards of the above brands are also accepted.

Here are some examples for prepaid cards we accept:

• V-Preca (application: available to those who are over the age of 18)
• WebMoney Card (Japanese) (application: those under 20 years of age may apply with parental consent.)

After submitting the payment, if there is no issue with the card information, it will be automatically completed. A confirmation email will be sent immediately upon receipt of your payment.

Note: If you do not receive any payment confirmation email within one day after submitting your payment, please send us a message through the “Contact” page.

4. Receiving your registration Items (Con-badge)

You can check the pre-registration information in the confirmation email sent to you upon completion of your pre-registration.

For Those Living in Japan

If you live in Japan, your registration items and convention badge will be mailed to your registered address by December 7th (Sun.), 2025. Please keep them in a safe place and do not forget to bring the con-badge with you on the days of the convention.

• Delivery is expected to be completed by December 13th (Sat.), 2025. Please note that the actual delivery date may vary depending on the destination area.
• If any registration items are missing (such as missing participation perks), please contact us by December 19th (Fri.), 2025. We will be able to pass you the correct items on the days of the convention.
• If you haven’t received your con-badge by December 13th (Sat.), 2025, please make sure to contact us by December 19th (Fri.), 2025.

Note: If you do not contact us by the above date, we cannot re-issue your con-badge with your name printed on it.

Note: Participation perks such as T-shirts will be sent in the same envelope.

For Those Living outside Japan

Attendees living overseas will receive their con-badge at the JMoF registration desk in the hall lobby on the days of the convention. Please bring and show your government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport) to pick up your con-badge and other items.

3. Payment

We accept cash, credit card payments and electronic money payments (including prepaid transportation IC cards like Suica, PASMO, etc.) for the participation fee.

• When paying by credit card
  • Once you have finished adding your participation tier, please proceed to the checkout screen to make your payment.
  • Once the credit card payment has completed, we will hand over your con-badge, so please come to the reception desk.
• When paying by cash or electronic money payments (including transportation IC cards)
  • Please pay the participation fee at the JMoF reception desk.
  • When you have finished adding your participation tier, please come directly to the reception desk.

Electronic Money Payments

The electronic money payments that are able to be used are QUICPay, iD, and Apple Pay. Prepaid transportation IC cards that are able to be used are Suica, PASMO, Kitaca, TOICA, manaca, ICOCA, SUGOCA, nimoca, and Hayakaken.

Note: PayPay and PiTaPa cannot be used.
